Matthew will be collaborating with the team to identify and secure investments in private Canadian businesses, with a focus on Central Canada, and assist our business partners in growing our enterprises. His wealth of experience, distinguished track record and deep understanding of corporate development, private equity and finance will reinforce Regimen’s ability to continue acquiring new platform investments, building great portfolio businesses, and delivering strong investor returns.

Matthew joins Regimen following five years as the Director of Corporate Development and a member of the executive leadership team at The Jim Pattison Group, a privately held, diversified holding company with over $14 billion in sales. While there, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate development and deal making for certain divisions and supported the group with overall corporate strategy. Prior to that, Matthew worked at Deloitte in both the Corporate Finance and Assurance divisions where he assisted clients on mergers and acquisitions, valuations, transaction services and assurance in a variety of industries. His clients consisted of both public and private companies spanning a wide variety of industries including commercial and industrial services, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, financial services, dealerships, entertainment, retail, advertising, consumer goods and food processing.
Matthew is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Matt holds the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and is active in the local M&A community, currently serving as a Director for the Association for Corporate Growth, British Columbia chapter since 2019.
